Pondering/Reflection
Ponder with Paul, beneath the surface.
Messiah-seekers don’t get it
The more I hear leftists speak about President Trump the more I realize how much they don’t get it. The Left has always sought a Messiah in their president, someone who makes them “feel good” about themselves and who promises to save them from their misery. Since they reject the Messiah, they look for one […]... Read More
Lewd Dancing Valued Over Abortion Survivors
I hate to brag, but several days ago I had predicted the Chiefs would beat the 49ers by a score of 33-20. It ended 31-20. Very close. An observation….. There are two facts one can ponder about the non-football portion of the Superbowl this year: 1) While the halftime show was centered on pole dancing […]... Read More
The Devil’s Playbook for Contemporary Times
Hell’s 7-Step Plan to Weaken the Church and Attack the World in the 20th and 21st Centuries 1) Inspire the creation of the birth control pill, knowing it will cause a sexual revolution and culture of death, gravely violating human nature and God’s law. 2) Inspire the media and academia — the two culture molding […]... The Anti-Trinity Creed of Our Age
The Credo of the Culture of Death In the name of Contraception, and of Fornication, and and of Abortion. Amen. We believe in Contraception, the father, the mighty creator of our culture of death; of sexual sin visible and invisible. And we believe in one idol, Fornication, the only son of the pill; born of […]... Read More
Do Atheists Go to Heaven?
It’s from a few years ago, but this article continues to pop up on my facebook feed. So I’ll respond to it. The article is entitled: “Pope Francis Assures Atheists: You Don’t Have to Believe in God to Go to Heaven” The main paragraph states this: Responding to a list of questions published in the […]... Futility of condemning symptom but not cause
Moral evil relating to the creation and destruction of human life is a seamless garment. Marriage, sex, and procreation are three elements of one entity (the family), i.e. three dimensions of one reality. Attack one and you attack all.... Read More
Two basic errors
In the progressive mind, it is unconscionable to think a woman’s right to bodily autonomy does not trump her tiny embryonic child’s right to life. This basic error is born of two prior fundamental errors, the first anthropological, the second moral: a) that women’s equality takes the same shape as a man’s, and b) that […]... Read More
Restoration of Right Religion
Some see man’s historical belief in nature-deities as proof that religion is superstition. The contrary is actually true. It is a sign God is real. The religious sense in man is innate, as natural to him as hunger and thirst, since he is both spiritual and physical. Since original sin darkened the soul, man lost […]... Read More

Infinite-Eternal Ground of all Being
Intelligibility depends on an underlying Reality that upholds, sustains, and defines all things. The degree of truth, goodness, justice, and beauty in things are understood only by way of subconscious comparison to their Perfections.... Read More

A Day at the Museum
Yesterday, Columbus Day, I went to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston with my wife and a couple friends. I have good memories of it, but haven’t been there for about 20 years. This time it was different. The art and excavations were still awesome as usual, but the management of the museum, predictably, […]... Read More
Two Complementary Components of Being
In reflecting the infinite Love of God, every community of persons includes two groups of people: some whose primary concern is truth, justice, and excellence; and others whose focus is compassion, mercy, and equality. Some distinguish these mindsets as conservative and liberal, others masculine and feminine. They can be metaphorically referred to as the head […]... Read More
The Race between DJT and RGB
Since the Great Media Meltdown of election night 2016, the media & Democratic Party have unsuccessfully pounced on one topic after another to take down President Trump – hoping, spinning, and interpreting everything for this end. Will this latest one stick? I doubt it but we’ll see… Why is this happening? Let’s go beneath […]... Read More
The Two Kinds of Fear
There are two kinds of fear of God: one is healthy and essential to happiness, the other unhealthy and essential to unhappiness. Lack of the first leads to acquiring the second. The first kind of fear of God enables those with immature intellects, unable to understand the big picture (child, adolescent, young adult), to […]... Read More
A Very Brady Analysis
I am watching “A Very Brady Renovation” on HGTV and pondering why the ratings are so sky high – fifty years after Carol and Mike tied the knot. Many old Tv shows are repeated on MeTV and other oldies stations, but only a few rise to iconic status, remaining beloved throughout the decades. What […]... Read More
Not even loved ones
Love comes in different forms. With regard to sin, love must include admonishment or at least non-support of the moral wrong. What do you do when a loved one invites you to an invalid wedding? When a friend asks you to lie for him? Or when a child of yours tells you he/she has decided to act on his/her (disordered) homosexual desires with unnatural relationships? Does misplaced compassion or fear of being ostracized get the best of you? Or do you choose God's will, communicating it with clarity and charity, and then suffer the consequences?
These questions we all must ask ourselves.... Read More

Pro-Life is Not Simply Pro-Baby
Let me express a pet peeve of mine I’ve had for a while. In my humble opinion, one of the biggest mistakes the pro-life movement in general has made over the past few decades has been to make their point with pictures of babies and toddlers. I understand the purpose is to get people to […]... Read More
More of Contraception’s Legacy
