In order to live in relative peace, a civilized people must abide by natural law.

In order to flourish as a people, they must live over-and-above, via grace.

This is the difference between the Commandments and the Beatitudes; and used to be the difference between Christendom (Western civilization) and ‘successful’ pagan nations.

Today, the progressive post-Christian movement — by rejecting both grace and nature, i.e. faith and reason — seeks to dismantle not only the goods of Western civilization, but also the basic goods found in paganism. It is a movement of complete destruction.
