Plenty of Blame to Share

Yes, Gen Y and Z were a big reason there was a red trickle rather than a red wave Tuesday. But don’t blame them.

They’ve been raised in a culture where the inmates are running the asylum – through the media and academia, and now government and big corporations.

Blame Boomers for throwing away the baby with the bath water with regard to tradition; and blame their parents for becoming too materialistic after saving the world from fascism. And you can blame Gen Xers for being the bridge that allowed the culture to go from rejection to insanity.

But perhaps the first ones to blame ought to be the ones looking back from the mirror, for not being the shining lights we are called to be, and should be.
