Big Difference between Not Knowing and Rejecting

Natural law morality is universally accessible through human reason alone. In theory, no religious faith is necessary to grasp and accept it. Natural law is the moral code that corresponds to the ends and goods of human nature, for optimal human fulfillment.

Although the pre-Christian pagan world that never knew Truth incarnate was primitive and at times barbaric, it intuitively knew and accepted the basic tenets of natural law. In principle, to have never consciously known the Logos does not cut off one’s access to Him.

On the other hand, the post-Christian movements of the modern world that have rejected Truth incarnate no longer have access to natural law reasoning. Rejecting the Logos closes one off to reason and basic sanity.

To not yet know Reality is to anticipate; to reject Him is to despair.
