It is very clear that If:

a) Christ is God Incarnate, and,
b) He shared with the apostles and their successors His authority to make obligatory Church laws in His name, and,
c) one of those laws is to honor the Sabbath Day by attending mass every Sunday and Holy Day as a minimal duty to maintain one’s relationship with God, then clearly,
d) if one knowingly and freely misses Sunday mass without a serious excuse one places oneself in the state of mortal sin, alienated from God.
Dying in this state unrepentant leads one to hell for all eternity.

What could be more simple?
